Enjoy our local amenities and recreational opportunities by brining your home on wheels or tent to one of our two camping areas.

Peder Larson Park- First come first serve. Camping is $.10.00 per night with electric hookups available. Please contact City Hall to reserve a spot.

Gunderson Park (no electric hookups available). Camping is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day

  1. Camping is free and permitted in Gunderson Park. Please call City Hall to obtain a permit.

  2. You need to be self-contained. No amenities are provided; such as water, restrooms or trash cans.

  3. You may camp in a dispersed area for up to 14 days. Campers may not spend more than 14 consecutive days of any 30 day period. 

  4. Please place your campsite at least 100 feet from any stream or other water source.

  5. Keep a Pack-In Pack-Out camp. Inspect your campsite and rest areas for trash or spilled foods. Pack out all trash, leftover food, and litter.

  6. Contact the City Hall Office to see if any restrictions, especially fire restrictions are in place.
